Third Meeting of the Global Task Force for Cholera Control

The Global Task Force for Cholera Control (GTFCC) has met on 14 and 15 June 2016, in Amman, Jordan.
The meeting brought together 45 participants from the five functional GTFCC clusters: Epidemiology and surveillance; Laboratory and monitoring; Patient care / case management; WASH; OCV.
 
Thierry Vandevelde, Chairman of the WASH Group of the GTFCC, gave an update on the group's progress and objectives.
 
The meeting also made it possible to initiate reconciliations on themes common to several groups, in this case the WASH and Laboratory groups, on the detection of vibrio cholerae in the environment.
